Royal London Group, in its current form, is predominantly the result of the acquisitions by Royal London of the United Assurance Group and Scottish Life in 2001.
The Group also includes our asset management company, RLAM; the offshore company, Scottish Life International; and our specialist protection business, Bright Grey, which opened in 2003.

Royal London is the largest mutual life and pensions company in the UK with Group funds under management of £28.8 billion. Group businesses serve over three million customers and employ 2760 people.
